Founded in 2004 by a United States Marine mother, MoMs USA is a Texas 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting our troops through various means, such as:

     • Care packages

     • Various events involving active and wounded US Military

     • Working with local area Military and their family

​

In the recent years, MoMs has shipped more than 2,000 care packages annually overseas to our brave men and women of the US Military and provided several hundred boxes to the Family Life Center and Fisher House in San Antonio (formerly known as Brooks Army Medical Center). MoMs collects donated items for our care packages and also purchases a variety of the most needed and requested items by our Troops. We gather together to prepare, package, label and ship these boxes that have been filled with much love, respect and honor. Shipments are sent all throughout the year for those who are standing in harms way for each of us here in America.

MoMs has been honored to be able to host and coordinate the Heroes’ Welcome at IAH airport every May for several hundred wounded soldiers that arrive for a weekend of fishing sponsored by Warriors Weekend organization. MoMs is privileged to be able to organize and fund the one night housing, transportation and dinner for more than 100+ wounded that arrive early. Lunches and drinks are provided for all 300+ before their departure to their final destination. Our fundraising efforts enable MoMs to defray the costs of hotel rooms, food and beverage, transportation and just about anything else our soldiers need while they are here visiting Houston and the great state of Texas. Our Military deserve so much more than what we can provide for just this brief moment in time, and it should be the best. For those of you who haven’t experienced this Texas-sized Welcome, you really need to plan to come to the airport (Terminal C, Baggage Claim Area) on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 9:15am for a good spot. It’s an event that will profoundly touch you.

MoMs accomplishments are done only through passionate volunteers and the generosity of our donors! When you donate, you support our US Troops through MoMs USA. You can be confident that you have supported and touched the lives of many brave and dedicated men and women who proudly wear the military uniform of The United States of America. John F. Kennedy said it best, “ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” This describes our US Military, past and present. It’s much easier to share what we’ve been blessed with here in America, than to give a leg or arm or eye…or even life itself.
